About
Helene’s passion for design began at her grandfather’s drafting table. An immigrant from Bolivia and a skilled architect, he instilled in her an appreciation for the intersection of beauty, function, and the way people truly experience a space. Their time together—drawing, painting, and imagining—shaped her approach to interiors: thoughtful, artistic, and deeply intentional. Today, she leads a design studio specializing in concept-driven hospitality and residential spaces, where each project is an exploration of history, craftsmanship, and the way people interact with their surroundings.
Helene’s work isn’t bound by a singular set of aesthetic codes but is rooted in a sense of feeling, intimacy, and authenticity. She believes interiors should feel layered and timeless, growing with their inhabitants rather than adhering to fleeting trends. Valuing antiques, heirlooms, and artisan-crafted pieces, she celebrates imperfections and patinas as part of a space’s soul. With a confident embrace of texture, materiality, and an intuitive use of color, she creates spaces that are warm, elevated, and deeply personal—whether a character-filled home or an immersive hospitality experience.
In tandem with the design studio, Helene’s storefront offers a curated selection of home goods, lifestyle pieces, and décor—allowing visitors to experience her aesthetic firsthand. Open to the public, the shoppe serves as an extension of her design philosophy, featuring thoughtfully sourced furnishings, artisan-crafted objects, and unique finds that bring depth and character to any space. It is a place where design and curation meet, offering both inspiration and access to the timeless, soulful elements that define her work.
